Gaggia's Vogue espresso machine is one of four new machines in the
stunning Platinum series. Designed for the home, office or pantry, this
machine does it all without breaking the bank. An optional milk island
connects to the steam system and will automatically froth milk for
cappuccinos and lattes if you don't feel like doing it manually. Inside
the stainless steel housing you will find the rapid steam system which
reduces down time in between frothing milk and brewing espresso as well
as a 15 bar pump. Other features include a backlit touch ring control,
stainless steel front panel, and the E. Plus coffee strength system as
well as a host of other features.
E. Plus Beverage Strength System
This
knob allows the user to adjust the strenth of coffee/espresso for each
cup. A turn all the way to the left makes a weaker coffee while a turn
all the way to the right makes a very strong coffee/espresso. Leave the
knob in the middle for a regular strenth coffee.
Control Panel and Indicator Lights
The
control panel on the front of this machine is very easy to use. You
control the coffee volume, the amount (dose) of coffee used in each
drink, the steam function and the hot water function. In addition, the
Vogue will alert you when the machine needs water added to the
removable 57 oz. water tank, when the coffee grounds and drip tray need
to be emptied and even when coffee beans need to be added to the bean
hopper.
Rapid Steam Boiler
The
rapid steam stainless steel lined boiler assures the user that you will
not have to wait between brewing espresso and steaming milk.
Pannarello Frothing Wand
The
stainless steel pannarello frothing attachment is very simple to use.
Simply fill a frothing pitcher with milk, insert the pannarello
frothing attachment into the milk and you will be frothing milk in
seconds.
Ceramic Burr Grinder and 8.8 oz. Bean Hopper
A
quiet built-in ceramic burr grinder grinds your beans for the freshest
tasting espresso without waking up the entire crew! The bean hopper
holds about 1/2 lb. of beans and when empty, the display will alert you
that it needs to be filled.
Height Adjustable Drip Tray
The drip tray can be raised up and down manually by a simple pull of a lever and accommodates different size cups and mugs.
Steam Nozzle and Hot Water Dispenser
The
steam nozzle can be used for steam for frothing milk for cappuccinos or
hot water for making hot chocolates, teas and even soups! Choose either
the steam function or hot water function from the control panel.
